GCP has been in the stepping stone and septic tank manufacturing business since the early 1950’s. We manufacture and distribute our exposed river gravel (pea gravel) and plain concrete stepping stones, pavers, patio stones through a dealer network of builder supplies, hardware stores, big box stores and garden centers in the Southeastern United States.

In the fall of 1950 EH Garrott Sr. and John B Garrott Sr. founded EH Garrott and Son, as a ready mix concrete company in Gallatin TN. A few years later the name changed to Garrott Brothers, when brothers Ed (Bud) and Tom joined the company. Shortly thereafter, they began manufacturing septic tanks, and other precast concrete products in addition to ready mix concrete. By 1975 Garrott Concrete Products (GCP) was created, which included all precast operations. In 1985 GCP became incorporated and sold. John and Tom Garrott, and Steve Sudbury purchased the company. 1989 Tom left and in 1997 John left, leaving Steve and Jane (Garrott) Sudbury as owners. In 2020 Dan Driver, the plants General Manager purchased the company from the Sudburys.

Today GCP manufactures and distributes stepping stones, pavers, patio stones, septic tanks, burial crypts, parking curbs and various other precast concrete products.
